Relationship between plasma testosterone levels and CSF p-Tau levels overall (a) and by APOE4 status (b). Using multivariable linear regression, we found a significant total testosterone X APOE4 status interaction on p-Tau levels that revealed an association between lower total testosterone levels and higher p-Tau levels among APOE4 carriers (n = 93) but not among APOE4 non-carriers (n = 79).
