BSD-OSSD Award

BMC, publisher of Biology of Sex Differences, and the OSSD are establishing an annual award to highlight the best research published in the journal by OSSD members. The prize will be awarded to the article that is deemed the most worthy in terms of novelty, general interest, and significance, by the journal's Editors-in-Chief and an accompanying panel of researchers. The prize will be a waiver of the article processing charge (APC) for a future publication in the journal, an Amazon.com gift voucher, and being featured on the BMC Blog Network OnBiology--which has a monthly readership of over 20,000 (and is growing). The prize will be awarded at the OSSD meeting, to an article published between January 1st and December 31st of the previous year.

Biology of Sex Differences is an online, open access journal published by BMC, and is currently the only biomedical journal dedicated to research into sex differences.
