AR is involved in the effects of BPA on the expression of AUTS2, KMT2C, and SMARCC2 in the human neuroblastoma cell line SH-SY5Y. The cell line stably transfected with AR-overexpression plasmid (pAR) or negative control plasmid (pNeg) was treated with BPA (n = 5) or ethanol as a vehicle control for treatment (n = 5). The expression levels of representative genes transcriptionally regulated by AR and other ASD-related TFs were assessed using qRT-PCR analysis. Data are presented as the mean ± SEM. The differences between the two groups were analyzed using the two-tailed Student’s t test. A p value < 0.05 was considered significant. *p value < 0.05
