Each row is a specific transcription or epigenetic factor, with a total of 60 for females and 61 for males; the color denotes expression detected and enrichment in XX (red), XY (blue), or not biased (yellow). Group I: biased in ES cells, not expressed thereafter; groups II, III: biased in ES cells and same (II) or different (III) bias at other stages; group IV: biased after implantation but before gonadogenesis; group V: biased only after gonadogenesis
