The red dots denote 189 genes that were found to be significantly upregulated in males (p < 0.05) with a log2 fold change greater than 2. Green dots represent the 201 genes that were found to be significantly upregulated in females (p < 0.05) with a log2 fold change greater than 2. Black dots represent genes with a log2 fold change less than 2.
